Tick Tick Malawi, Central Africa … Can you hear it? See it? The clock is ticking. For many people in the tiny nation of Malawi the clocks are ticking away their lives. Starvation and famine are widespread and there is no way the people can obtain aid from “around the corner” or “down the street.” It is everywhere, affecting everyone. Unlike the west where friends, neighboring communities, as well as state and federal agencies can step in to help in a crisis, in Malawi there is nowhere to turn, and no one that can help.
